Care Instructions

Every Vrindaé Living piece is handcrafted from responsibly sourced solid wood. Natural variations in grain, texture, knots, and colour are part of its unique character.

Upholstery Care

1. Vacuum regularly using a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and surface debris.
2. For everyday cleaning, gently wipe the upholstery with a clean, soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, depending on the fabric type.
3. Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this may spread the stain or affect the fabric texture.
4. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, bleach, alcohol-based products, and household detergents unless specifically recommended for the upholstery fabric.
5. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area before applying it to the visible surface.
6. For stubborn stains or extensive cleaning, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended.

Wood & Panel

1. Dust exposed wooden surfaces regularly using a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
2. For light cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe gently. Avoid excessive moisture.
3. Clean spills immediately to prevent moisture from affecting the surface or finish.
4. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, bleach, alcohol-based products, and rough cleaning materials.
5. Keep exposed wooden or finished panel surfaces away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and standing water.
6. Do not place hot or wet objects directly on exposed wooden surfaces.
7. Avoid scratching, cutting, or placing sharp objects directly on wooden or finished surfaces.

Maintenance

1. Keep furniture indoors in a dry, well-ventilated environment.
2. Avoid dragging the furniture when moving it. Lift it carefully with assistance to prevent damage to the frame, legs, upholstery, or flooring.
3. Avoid sitting or placing excessive weight on the arms, backrest, or other non-seating areas.
4. Keep sharp objects and pets' claws away from the upholstery to prevent snags, scratches, or tears.
5. For loose or reversible cushions, rotate and reposition them regularly to promote even wear.
6. Gently fluff and reshape cushions periodically to help maintain their original appearance and comfort.

Please Note: Minor variations in fabric colour, texture, weave, wood grain, knots, and surface appearance are natural characteristics of the materials used and the handcrafted nature of the product. Slight changes in cushion softness and fabric texture with regular use are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

As our furniture is handcrafted and made to order, please allow 2–3 weeks for production, finishing, upholstery, quality checks, and order processing before dispatch.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipment details and tracking information via email or SMS.

Delivery Information

1. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive and inspect the furniture.
2. We recommend carefully inspecting the packaging and product upon delivery.
3. Please retain the original packaging until you have confirmed that the product has arrived safely and in satisfactory condition.
4. An unboxing video is mandatory for claims related to transit damage, missing components, or incorrect items.
5. Any visible transit damage should be reported to us as soon as possible and within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns & Replacements

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit, defective due to a manufacturing issue, incorrectly delivered, or missing essential components, please contact us at care@vrindaeliving.com within 7 days of delivery.

To help us process your request, please provide:

1. Your order number.
2. Clear photographs of the product and packaging.
3. A continuous, uninterrupted unboxing video showing the package, shipping label, packaging, and product during unpacking.
4. A clear description of the issue.

Once your request is received, our quality team will review the details and assess the claim. If the claim is approved, the appropriate resolution may include repair, replacement of the affected component, or replacement of the product, depending on the nature and extent of the issue.

Where reasonably possible, repair or replacement of the affected component will be prioritised over complete product replacement. If a complete replacement is approved, we will coordinate the pickup of the original product and arrange delivery of the replacement.

Change-of-Mind Returns

As our furniture is handcrafted and made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind, preference, comfort preference, colour or fabric preference, incorrect measurements, or incompatibility with your space.

We encourage you to carefully review the product dimensions, materials, finish, fabric, and specifications before placing your order.

Non-Returnable Conditions

Returns or replacements will not be accepted for:

1. Damage caused after delivery through misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper care.
2. Products that have been improperly assembled, altered, modified, or repaired by a third party.
3. Scratches, stains, dents, tears, burns, or pet-related damage occurring after delivery.
4. Natural variations in wood grain, knots, texture, colour, fabric weave, or finish.
5. Normal upholstery characteristics such as minor creasing, pilling, cushion settling, or changes in softness resulting from regular use.
6. Damage caused by excessive moisture, direct sunlight, outdoor use, or unsuitable environmental conditions.
7. Custom-made or personalised furniture, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects, transit damage, or incorrect fulfilment.
8. Sale, clearance, or promotional products, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects, transit damage, or incorrect fulfilment.

Claim Assessment

All return, replacement, and damage claims are subject to review and verification by the Vrindaé Living quality team. Photographs, videos, and additional information may be requested to assess the claim and determine the appropriate resolution.

Warranty Period

All Vrindaé Living upholstered furniture is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, including:

1. Structural defects resulting from workmanship.
2. Manufacturing defects in applicable structural materials.
3. Defective hardware or fittings under normal residential use.
4. Manufacturing defects in upholstery, stitching, or workmanship.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

1. Normal wear and tear.
2. Fabric fading, pilling, or colour changes resulting from normal use or prolonged exposure to sunlight.
3. Stains, spills, burns, cuts, tears, punctures, or pet-related damage.
4. Normal cushion settling, compression, creasing, or changes in softness resulting from regular use.
5. Scratches, dents, or damage occurring after delivery.
6. Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, improper assembly, or improper maintenance.
7. Damage caused by excessive moisture, humidity, direct sunlight, or outdoor use.
8. Natural characteristics of wood, including grain variations, knots, colour variations, expansion, and contraction.
9. Any modification, alteration, or repair carried out by a third party.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect:

1. Contact us at care@vrindaeliving.com within the warranty period.
2. Provide your order number and a description of the issue.
3. Share clear photographs and/or videos showing the defect.
4. Our quality team will evaluate the claim and determine the appropriate resolution.

Depending on the nature of the issue, the resolution may include repair, replacement of the affected component, or replacement of the product, where applicable.

Warranty Limitations

Vrindaé Living's liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product or affected component. The warranty does not cover indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Please Note: Warranty coverage is subject to verification by the Vrindaé Living quality team and applies to manufacturing defects under normal residential use.
